What is Flourish?

Flourish is our tailored legal support programme, created exclusively for businesses like yours.

We guide companies through every stage of the corporate lifecycle—from start-up and fundraising to scaling and eventual exit. We’re woven into the foundations of start-up success.

We understand that the early stages of building a business can be the most demanding. With so much to navigate, the last thing you need is costly legal advice from lawyers who don’t fully understand your vision or your products. That’s where Flourish comes in. We help you tackle legal challenges and seize opportunities, so you can stay focused on what matters most: growing your business.

Beyond the commercial support, you’ll also become part of our vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, gaining access to a network of like-minded founders, clients, and friends of the firm.

Is Flourish for me?

Our support programme offers significant benefits to successful members and cannot be for everyone. To be considered for inclusion in the programme, your business will:

  • Be a new client for Lawrence Stephens, this offer is not open to existing clients.
  • Be based in the UK.
  • Be in the first three years of operation.
  • Have or are anticipating within the next 6-18 months significant Angel, Seed Series A or B funding.

In order to be considered, we require interested businesses to complete the application form below and our Flourish Committee will evaluate these. We will respond to your request within three days. We look forward to welcoming you to our community.

What is included?

Fixed price support

Flourish clients will benefit from a range of fixed-fee offers for certain products that you are most likely to need early in your growth journey.

Discounted hourly rates

-

You will also benefit from generous discounted rates on our hourly rates for any other legal support where the scope is not easily fixed.

Our discounts for businesses on the programme are as follows:

  • 30% discount on our standard hourly rates for the first six months after appointment.
  • 20% discount for the next nine months.
  • 10% discount for the remaining nine months.

Legal mentor

Each business accepted onto our programme will be paired with a dedicated legal adviser who will act as their mentor, providing guidance and support through quarterly meetings throughout the duration of the programme.

Free Membership to the Flourish community

You’ll be invited to join the Flourish community, where members enjoy informal gatherings and networking opportunities, and benefit from sharing insights and learning through case studies with clients and friends of the firm.
