Yesterday Lawrence Stevens took part in the Standard Chartered Great City Race, a 5k corporate running race through the City of London.

They competed against other companies in the legal, accountancy, insurance and banking sectors in a challenge offering the opportunity to run past some of the Square Mile’s great landmarks at close proximity – including Tower 42, the Bank of England, Guildhall and St Paul’s Cathedral.

Those representing Lawrence Stephens were Stephen Messias, Lauren Messias, Katrina Hanak, Steven Smith, Craig Mullen and Lawrence Kelly. All of our runners impressively completed the race in under 35 minutes, with a huge congratulations going out to Stephen and Lauren who finished with times of 24:22 and 25:14 respectively.

We are incredibly proud of our team for their efforts and are happy to announce that we have raised £578.75 for our chosen charity, Great Ormond Street Hospital. The race’s official charity partner was Futuremakers, a global initiative to tackle inequality and promote greater economic inclusion for young people in our communities.

Thank you for donating so generously and a special thanks to our Head Secretary Dee Atwal who coordinated the race and our charity partner links.
