Meet Sona
Sona graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with joint honours in Law and Anthropology in 2017. Earlier this year, Sona obtained a Distinction for completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, Holborn.
Previous experience includes working as a property paralegal for a London law firm which entailed managing caseloads and subsequent meetings as well as working with clients and managing their expectations. Sona’s main role as a trainee will be to assist and work alongside solicitors as they guide and help her develop and build several transferable skills, her responsibilities as a trainee will differ depending on her training seats which include Litigation, Secured Lending and Corporate/Commercial.
Sports play a big role in her life, having first taken up Netball more than 10 years ago. Most weekends Sona can be found on the court testing her skills as a wing attack and/or centre. Sona has an innate passion for music and dance. As an Indian classical dancer and pianist, she has performed at Novello Theatre, in the West End and the Royal Albert Hall for more than 2,000 people. And if you think that there couldn’t be any other strings to her bow, Sona also happens to speak two second languages – Gujarati and Spanish.
