Meet Danae

I am a Senior Associate in the Banking / Real Estate Finance team at Lawrence Stephens.

I advise both lenders and borrowers on real estate finance transactions, acting for banks and other funders as well as corporate and individual borrowers across acquisition, refinancing and development deals. I bring a commercial, practical approach to structuring and closing transactions efficiently, without losing sight of the detail that protects my clients' interests.

Alongside my core real estate finance practice, I have experience in art finance and Islamic finance, advising clients on the specific structuring and security considerations these areas require.

• Advising international auction house on the refinancing of its UK portfolio (£105 million)
• Advising Lender on disposal of Hotel to major Sponsor (£160 million)
• Advising Lender on Acquisition financing of UK Property Portfolio (commercial/residential) (£574 million)

• Art financing transaction for HNW with multi-jurisdictional elements (Isle of Mann, Switzerland, UK and US) of £300 million portfolio
