Lawrence Stephens act on High Court directors’ application

June 2020

The Lawrence Stephens dispute resolution team have successfully acted on behalf of two company directors applying to the High Court for permission to act as directors and members of a number of companies and Limited Liability Partnerships while subject to a disqualification order.

The application was complicated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic – which had a direct impact on the trading abilities of the clients’ businesses – but we are delighted to confirm that the application was successful and permission was granted by the High Court.

Given the wider context, this matter is a testament to the skill and diligence of the team, who have been working tirelessly to gain a successful result.

Lawrence Kelly, Partner, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, comments:

“This was a particularly complex matter made even more difficult by the wider pressures COVID-19 has placed on us. For this reason, I am truly thankful for the hardworking nature of my team, who have been committed to bringing this matter to a satisfactory conclusion. .”
