Congratulations to our client, HFMC Wealth, on the acquisition of Harford Financial Ltd, a well-known mortgage brokerage business, which was completed on 30 November 2023.

We are proud to have supported HFMC Wealth on their fourth corporate acquisition in 2023 which speaks to their persistent and successful long-term growth strategy. This deal will expand HFMC’s offering with respect to wealth planning, investments, tax compliance and mortgages, by bringing additional capability in bridging loans, commercial finance and development loans.

Our Lawrence Stephens’ Corporate team was led by Director and Head of Corporate Jeff Rubenstein, with key support from solicitors Izzy Moran and Carla Bernstein and Trainee Solicitor Avni Patel, while the banking side of the transaction was managed seamlessly by Associate Aashay Knights and Solicitor Lucy Cadley.
